How ChanFlow works: from your birth chart to a character report

ChanFlow provides BaZi character reports at thechanflow.com, including individual and relationship readings from birth charts. You can read the public sample without an account, then sign in for a free type card. Complete reports use ink, the name for credits inside ChanFlow.

Start with the sample

The sample is one fixed report, not a personalized result for whoever opens the page. Read it to see the length, tone and kind of interpretation before entering your own details or buying ink.

What is free, and what uses ink?

The type card is free after signing in. A character report uses 168 drops of ink; a relationship report uses 268. New accounts receive 100 drops, which do not cover a complete report on their own. You can see the available top-up options on the ink page.

Follow-up questions use additional ink based on the answer length. The reading interface shows the charge for the answer. Saved reports and their previous conversations are available from your account.

The chart is calculated; the report is interpreted

Code calculates the birth chart. An AI model then interprets the supplied chart and reference material in plain language. BaZi is primary, with Western astrology and Zi Wei Dou Shu included when the necessary birth details are available. The model is instructed to use the calculated data rather than invent a new chart.

The report explores character, past patterns and the theme of the current season. A relationship report explores interaction, tension and what each person brings to the connection. Neither report issues a verdict on whether two people belong together or promises a particular future event.

What if I don’t know my birth time?

Mark the time as unknown. The report should identify what cannot be calculated from the available details. Do not invent a time to get a more complete-looking chart: it changes the data the interpretation rests on.

Your details and saved reports

Birth details and saved reports belong to your account, and personal report pages are not included in the public sitemap. The privacy page explains processing and account controls; the refund page explains the refund policy. These guides do not publish anyone’s personal chart or report.
