Terms of Service
1. What ChanFlow is
ChanFlow (thechanflow.com) is operated by CHANFLOW LIMITED, a company incorporated in Hong Kong (company no. 81164855) with its registered office at Room 12, 6/F, The Cloud, 111 Tung Chau Street, Tai Kok Tsui, Hong Kong. “We” and “us” on this page mean that company.
ChanFlow sells personalised long-form readings. Each reading is produced in two steps: a deterministic calculation of your birth chart across three traditions — Chinese BaZi, Zi Wei Dou Shu, and Western astrology — followed by an AI-written interpretation of that chart.
The chart calculation is arithmetic and repeatable. The interpretation is generated by a large language model and is written fresh for each order, so two people with identical birth details will not receive word-for-word identical text.
2. This is not advice
ChanFlow is offered for personal reflection and cultural interest. It is not medical, psychological, legal, financial, or professional advice of any kind, and it must not be used as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional.
Nothing in a reading is a prediction of fact or a guarantee of any outcome. Decisions you make after reading it are your own.
If you are in crisis or need support with your health, please contact a licensed professional or your local emergency services.
3. Who may use it
You must be at least 18 years old to buy a reading. ChanFlow is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
4. Credits and top-ups
ChanFlow runs on prepaid credits. You top up your account in one of the packs shown on the top-up page; the price and the number of credits you receive, including any bonus credits, are shown before you pay. Prices are in US dollars, at 10 credits to one US dollar, and larger packs carry more bonus credits; when you pay with WeChat Pay the price is the one shown in Chinese yuan. The smallest pack is an introductory offer and can be bought once per account. On the site, credits are called ink (墨) and counted in drops: one drop of ink is one credit, and “credits” in these terms means exactly that.
A single report costs 168 credits and a relationship report 268 credits. The cost is shown before a reading starts and is deducted only when the reading is actually generated; if generation fails before any text reaches you, the credits are returned automatically. A reading is delivered as text you can read on the site and export as a file.
Follow-up questions about a report you have read are charged by the length of the answer: one credit per 100 tokens of visible answer text, no less than 3 and no more than 15 credits per question. If an answer would cost more than your remaining balance, you still receive it and are charged only what you have; if no answer reaches you, nothing is charged.
Credits do not expire. They stay on your account until you use them or delete the account; deleting your account forfeits any remaining credits.
You may request a refund of an unused top-up within 7 days of purchase, and a return of credits for a reading that disappointed you. See our Refund Policy for how.
We may decline to generate a reading for details we cannot work with; in that case no credits are deducted.
5. Accuracy and availability
A reading depends on the birth details you supply. If those details are wrong or incomplete, the reading will be built on the wrong chart. Where birth time is unknown, the reading says so and works with what is available.
We aim to keep the service running but do not promise uninterrupted availability. The service, its content, and its prices may change.
6. Your content and ours
The reading produced for you is yours to keep, read, print, and share as you like.
The ChanFlow name, site design, prompts, and underlying calculation engine remain ours. You may not resell readings as your own product, or use the service to build a competing dataset or model.
7. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to break, overload, or automate access to the service, and do not submit another person's birth details unless you have their permission to do so.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of ChanFlow is limited to the amount you paid us in the top-up that funded the reading in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. If a dispute cannot be settled by writing to us first, it goes to the courts of Hong Kong.
If you live in a country whose consumer law gives you protections that cannot be waived by agreement, those protections still apply to you and nothing in this section takes them away.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed; material changes will not apply retroactively to an order already placed.
